Youth Investment Fund

Youth-Investment-FundThe government is apparently considering introducing start-up loans for young entrepreneurs on the same terms as university loans.

This initiative is being backed by Sir Richard Branson and his online hub for entrepreneurs Virgin Media Pioneers. Virgin Media Pioneer Zoe Jackson was invited to a Q&A session with the Prime Minister David Cameron, at the session she was questioning the prime minister on a youth investment fund to which he fully supported.

Supporters of this initiative consist of; Prime Minister David Cameron, Richard Branson is giving it his full backing and 16 MPs have shown their support for the Youth Investment Fund.

Virgin Media Pioneer Zoe Jackson a young entrepreneur is also very passionate about the youth investment fund. Zoe Jackson started her very own performing arts company in 2006 when she just 16! To date her company is running successfully but, a point made was that back in 2006 a youth investment fund would have encouraged much more entrepreneurism and made opening a business much easier.

As of yet a final decision has not been made but, a decision will be announced in the 2012 budget. The 2012 budget is on the 21st March 2012.

Everyone who is passionate about youth enterprise has a responsibility to seize every opportunity they get to show their support for the youth investment fund, there are many ways in which you can support this initiative they conclude of;

In my opinion this initiative is a superb idea! This is because, I’m currently also in the process of setting up my business and I like many other young budding entrepreneurs know the financial struggles faced when starting a business. Struggles like those may defer people from starting up in business, and that results in losing another talent. The UK has the passionate young people who want to be entrepreneurs, they just need the support there to aid them to grow and prosper.

Commitment leads to action. Action brings your dream closer.
