About Us

Inspiring Young People is an online hub for career inspiraiton, video job profiles and  success stories aimed at young people around the world. We feature inspirational stories about successful young people doing amazing things and achieving the impossible.

At IYP we focus on encouraging others to do the same, providing them with advice and direction that will help them move forward and realise their ambitions.

Naweed Shams

Founder & CEO of Inspiring Young People

nsAs a young entrepreneur himself at 20, London based Naweed Shams decided to launch this website in 2009 as a platform for young people to get career inspiration via success stories, gain recognition & praise for their entrepreneurism and learn from eachother.

A year later IYP had gained notoriety and recognition in the world of youth media. He recruited once tearaway Jake Hanrahan, helping him realise his true potential as a writer.

The two combined their talents and got to work. The rest is history in the making.
